Ah I had so much fun in Yellowstone with Aunt Pine! It was relaxing getting to spend all that time surrounded by all of the natural wonders there. My Aunt has lived there a long time and she had so many stories to tell me. I could have spent the whole summer there without her telling me even half of them but I had places to go and Trees to see so I will have to listen to the rest of her stories some other time.
Now I'm in Paris and of course the first place I went was the Parc du Champ de Mars to see the Eiffel Tower. It was sooooooo tall!! I just kept looking up and up and up. I almost got a knot in my trunk just trying to see the top. I'm kinda jealous of the trees in the park who get to see it everyday, it's so beautiful. I tried to talk to some of them but they spoke French and I don't so it was mostly me waving a branch at something and smiling and neither of us understanding each other but everyone got a laugh out of it so all is well.
I hear that they have something like a park in the sky or something. It sounds cool, I will have to see that before I leave. First though, since I am in Paris after all, it's time to go SHOPPING!!!!!!!! I'm hoping to find a nice skirt, something red or maybe white, hmmm. If anyone has any suggestions as to which color you think might look better just facebook me. This is gonna be fun!
Well I gotta go, see you next time!!!
I just wanted to show everyone the picture I took at Yellowstone. I'm standing next to Old Faithful as it's erupting, it was amaaaaaaazing!
I think I'm going to go to Paris next, I'm leaving tomorrow. I'm so excited to see the Eiffel Tower! Let me know of any countries or cool places you think I should visit on my trip around the world!
Also, Pastor Stephen texted me to let me know that we have a really cool looking new website over at www.hearitsing.com! Be sure to check it out and keep coming back here at www.hearitsing.blogspot.com!
Hey everyone!
Welcome to my blog! I just wanted to tell you a few things as I begin my vacation and am still in my crate.
First, it was so much fun getting to meet everyone last Sunday. Pastor Rodney was so nice and everyone really made me feel at home. As excited as I am about my vacation I can't wait till I get back and really get to spend some time with all of you. I will miss everyone!
That reminds me that Pastor Stephen sent me some information about the Carolinas' Singing Christmas Tree that I think all of you might wanna know. Right now, tickets are on sale for my first three performances, all of which will be at Stough Memorial Baptist Church. Since I love singing so much (and I really want to get out and see some more of the Carolinas), I really, really want to be able to put on a show for you the next weekend somewhere, but I'm waiting to hear from my agent for the details, so stay tuned. The schedule right now looks like this:
- December 4th @ 7pm - Stough Memorial Baptist Church
- December 5th @ 4pm and 7pm - Stough Memorial Baptist Church
Tickets are being sold for my first three performances right now, so get em while they're still green! You can buy them at church on Sundays.
I promise I will be back in time for the rehearsals and I can't wait until I get to start singing! Well I'm almost to Yellowstone and my Great Aunt Evergreen said we can catch a lift on top of someone's SUV. Don't worry, we'll be sure to buckle up with rope or bungee cords (safety first)!
Oh yea, I almost forgot! I'll be posting pictures throughout my vacation, so be sure to come back and visit for updates. Actually, if you want, you can get all of my updates sent to your e-mail. All you have to do is put your e-mail in the top right of this page and you're set! Don't be strangers and keep an eye out for updates!
Much love,
Carol Pine
